About the Department:

The department of Physical Education is one of the social science general departments of our college. It was established in 2011 to carry out undergraduate General Course (B.A General). The first batch passed out in 2014. From 2023 three years Physical Education Major course has been started as the University of Burdwan adopted NEP. The Department of Physical Education envisages students’ enrichment with the knowledge and skills for spatial thinking and analysis to understand the real-world problems and contribute some meaningful ways for social well-being. The Departmental library contains some collections of Physical Education Books. At present it has nearly 300 Books (reference and Textbooks). The Department has a fully equipped and separate playground ( Foot Ball ,Volleyball, KHO-KHO) etc.
