About the Department:
- The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) General Course was introduced in 2007, following the 1+1+1 pattern. - The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Honours Course was introduced in 2009, also following the 1+1+1 pattern. - In the 2017-18 academic session, we adopted the Semester system, known as Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). - As per the New Education Policy (NEP-2020), we have implemented the revised curriculum from the 2022-23 academic session onwards.
